Snow

S N O W ~ So Now Over Winter

Oh for goodness sakes.  You would think we would be used to it by now.  The bitter cold and snow makes it feel like spring will never come.  We are less than 3 weeks away, but right it feels like a distant dream.

The good thing about snow is that it is insulation.  So while we're grabbing that extra scarf and feeling the chill, our plants are protected by a nice blanket of snow, a barrier for the harsh environment we now experience.

It could be much worse.  If the ground right now were bare and with all the bitter cold, come spring, we would likely find more plants that just did not make it.  So there's one thing we can be thankful for, even if we're just ready to be done.

We're open now.  Stop on out and get a dose of spring in the first greenhouse.  We're busy getting ready for when the winter actually breaks.

Think Spring!
